Earlier this year, I had the privilege of attending the launch event for Nick Cody & The Heartache's highly anticipated album, This Is Love. Nick, as usual, was accompanied by his talented band, including the delightful California duo Towse, comprising of Grace Fellows and Corwin Zeckley.

Although not attending the gig Calverley Community Choir performed the title track This Is Love on the album. Their harmonies perfectly complemented Nick's unique style, creating a heart-warming reflection of love that resonates in the soul.

While some tracks from the album have been released previously, I was genuinely impressed by the fresh arrangements. Each song felt revitalized, showcasing the band’s growth and creativity over time. It’s clear that a lot of passion went into these reimagined versions, making them a treat for both new listeners and long-time fans.
